Manager, AlliancesJob ID2023-3287CategoryOtherJob LocationsUS-IL-NilesWorkplace ArrangementHybridOverviewShure continues to grow!We are looking for a new Alliances Manager, who will play a key role in achieving Shure's growth objectives for its Integrated Systems and Unified Communications product portfolios by driving cross-functional activities with technology partners globally.
In this role, as an Alliances Manager you will live at the intersection of sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, with their goal being to grow revenue through external relationships and activities.
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week in our Niles, IL office ResponsibilitiesAct as Shure's key representative and account owner for technology partners as required, owning oversight of all business activity with allotted partners, owning planning of partner-related engineering and product management developments, and working alongside Shure's GTM teams to develop partner relationships.
Support the Alliances group and related commercial teams to ensure productive and mutually beneficial relationships with our technology partners.
Activities may include drafting new business cases to justify investment, forecasting exercises, crafting marketing campaigns, documenting technical partner requirements, and guiding engineering teams to develop impactful, innovative solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the joint solutions developed with the alliance partnersAs an SME, assist in creating and developing external documentation for sales, marketing, and technical customer-facing presentations.
Create internal documentation for consumption by the global organization including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support.
Remain informed and up to date on developments across the technology world which do or could impact Shure's business, with a particular focus on concepts and theories which could apply to forward-thinking internal technology developments, circulating information internally as appropriate.
Support product certification and compatibility program activities where applicable.
In collaboration with alliance partners and both internal and external marketing and commercial teams, assist with the planning and execution of partner-focused events and tradeshows, creation of channel offers/promotions, joint sales opportunities, seeding and trial/pilot programs, and use of demo centers and other customer immersion centers to generate awareness.
Develop, implement, and encourage the use of objective data and metrics to measure the success of partnerships.
May develop and administers schedules, performance requirements, and budget responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of combined experience in audiovisual technical sales, account management, business development, marketing, product development, or product management.
Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on solutions selling.
AV and UC solutions-selling to enterprise customers is a bonus.
Experience with collaboration and UC technologies including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex, and surrounding hardware solutions.
Ability to comprehend and become a subject matter expert in the partner's solutions, their strategy, and product roadmapExperience working with networked AV systems (Dante, AES67, NDI, proprietary systems) highly beneficial.
Self-starter able to own and direct their own accounts and prioritize their own workload appropriately.
Excellent presentation and writing skillsHigh attention to detail and technical accuracyCTS qualification highly beneficial but not essential.
Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trendsAble to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
