In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing infrastructure, cloud services, and security project initiatives throughout their full life cycle, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.
This is a hybrid opportunity, based in the Niles, IL office.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
Apply appropriate project management methodologies (waterfall, agile) based on project requirements.
Provide guidance and support to project teams as needed.
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborate closely with business owners, technical teams, and executive management to ensure alignment of project goals with overall business objectives.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, status reports, and post-project reviews.
Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to project team members and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies, staying current on industry best practices and trends.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master's degree or Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe 6 or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure, cloud services (AWS, Azure, and Office 365), and/or security initiatives.
Technical background and knowledge of cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and O365, as well as infrastructure and networking with a demonstrated ability to understand and navigate technical complexities in these areas and best practices in these areas.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Proficient in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
Demonstrated ability to work issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives.
Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
