Were currently seeking an Advertising Designer who will be responsible for managing and producing a high volume of dynamic direct-mail promotional packages, New Client Acquisition (NCA) print ads, and catalogs within a team environment for our New Ventures Business Team which includes the Jewelry and Apparel divisions.
This role will work closely with marketing, product developers, advertising designers and copywriters to create cohesive impactful direct mail packages, print ads, catalogs, mobile and internet banner ads and more.
How you will contribute:
Develop concepts for dynamic direct mail control and creative packages and space advertising often incorporating a dense amount of information.
Design/create brochures, ads and other promotions through the use and manipulation of photography (new or stock), art/illustration, typography and color to enhance the Product(s).
Develop creative tests to help increase overall response rates and improve sales for the corporation.
Manage creative priorities and high volume of workflow.
Prepare jobs for our printers by either releasing to workflow or CFO as required.
Maintain individual department logs for managing workflow.
Coordinate and track jobs to completion and maintain schedule; assist with organizational group tasks.
Keep up with technology and software shortcuts through training, tutorials, webinars, etc.
and ensure that knowledge is shared with other advertising designers.
Research background information on our product, customers and the marketplace, and testing history for related products.
Maintain working knowledge of Bradfords unique marketing and advertising platform and positioning as well as general marketing and advertising principles and techniques.
Utilize the PC platform and the latest version of the full Adobe Suite for producing all promotional material from concept, layout and design, retouching, to the release and RIP or CFO of final files.
What you will bring and skills that excite us:
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts with a Graphic Design or Visual Communications emphasis or equivalent.
3-5 years experience in advertising, design, promotional marketing, art directing photography, illustration or desktop publishing.
Must be PC proficient and have expert, advanced skill levels in current versions of Adobe Photoshop & InDesign.
Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Office experience helpful.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have good time management skills and be able to exercise flexibility with scheduling, multi-tasking and the ability to complete design assignments under tight deadlines.
Writing and editing skills helpful, but not required.
Experience in jewelry, apparel or fashion related industry a plus.
